Marney Schorr is an abstract and surrealist Artist working mainly in acrylics and gouache. Her imagery emanates from the subconscious creating abstract and surrealist scenes that inspire differing narratives for each viewer. She has also worked in mixed media, with oil pastel, oil and acrylic, inks, printmaking, collage, experimental papermaking, small fashion designs, and large scale assemblage. Her works have been exhibited and sold in New York and Massachusetts. She is very active in her community and has curated several group shows.

Marney Schorr is also an Art Therapist and Teaching Artist offering art workshops and art therapy groups for adults both online and in person at her private art studios located at the artists collective, NUarts Studios and Gallery in downtown Pittsfield MA. She earned her BA in Visual Art and her MA in Clinical Art Therapy.
